I have been an active participant in wma and hema in the Auckland school of European Martial Arts for the last 8 years. I train in german medieval arts, Italian Rapier, French smallsword, bare knuckle boxing and Savate. I have run small classes for beginners for the last 3 years and am focused on the underlying principals and bio mechincs behind the arts that make function. outside of my main streams of study I have a marginal interest in the Scottish sword arts and Spanish rapier along with later period knife fighting.
