I have been involved in the learning and practice of Western Martial Arts for close to 20 years. I started and continue playing in the SCA, concentrating on Italian sword styles from the Dardi school through early 1600s. In search of more data, I have spent hundreds of hours at WMA seminars and workshops, and have studied on my own, attempting to take the concepts and data, and applying them in a tournament setting.
