HEMA fencer with The School of the Sword, Godalming chapter, UK, since 2017. Currently a ‘Studente’ aiming to graduate to ‘Laureando’ this year. The school studies Italian Renaissance masters, principally sidesword and rapier disciplines, but I have a developing interest in the British experience in the Tudor/Elizabethan period and Napoleonic era British sabre.
