 This is a documentation subpage for Template:Harvcoltxt. It contains usage information, categories, interlanguage links and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
Modified version of {{Harvard citation text}}; used to display colon for page numbers.
{{Harvcoltxt | <Last name of author(s)> | <Year> | loc=<Location in the text> OR p=<page> OR pp=<pages> }}
- The first parameter is the author's last name.
 - The second parameter is the year of publication.
 - The optional parameter loc is the location of the cited material within the reference (e.g., "{{Harvcoltxt|Smith|2006|loc=1.3.2}}" yields: Smith (2006, 1.3.2).
 - The parameter p is an optional page parameter (e.g., "{{Harvcoltxt|Smith|2006|p=25}}" yields: Smith (2006:25).
 - The parameter pp is an optional page range parameter (e.g., "{{Harvcoltxt|Smith|2006|pp=25–26}}" yields: Smith (2006:25–26).

Don't use leading or trailing spaces. {{Harvcoltxt | Smith | 2006| p=25}} will not work.
For more information, see the documentation of {{Harvard citation}}.
