The MS 78.A.15 is a German fencing manual commissioned by Hans Talhoffer, probably in the 1450s.[citation needed] The original currently rests in the holdings of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin, Germany. This manuscript appears to be an expanded version of the earlier MS ⅩⅨ 17-3. The present, confused sequence of plays is probably due to the pages being shuffled during a rebinding.
