''''' (mutieren, mutirn, mutiren, transmuting) is one of the 17 Hauptstucke in the recital of Johannes Liechtenauer, and means to attack from the bind, used against an opponent who is soft on the sword, in which the combatant winds over his opponent’s blade to thrust low. This technique is typically discussed in tandem with duplieren which is also typically regarded as two tempo thrust in opposition from the bind.
