Nachreisen (Nachfolgen, Pursuing, Chasing, Traveling After) is one of the 17 Hauptstucke in the recital of Johannes Liechtenauer, and generally implies an attack that overtakes the opponent’s initiative. It can be used of an attack into the opponent’s preparation, or a counterattack after the opponent has missed, or an attack that crowds into an opening that the opponent has created.
