The Codex I.6.4º.3 is a German fencing manual created in the 1450s.[citation needed] The original currently rests in the holdings of the Universitätsbibliothek Augsburg in Augsburg, Germany. This manual is commonly attributed to Jud Lew, when in fact the text only cites him as author of a few of its sections. The rest of the manuscript is a compilation text consisting of treatises on a variety of martial topics, by several different masters who stood in the tradition of Johannes Liechtenauer. This manuscript may have been a source for Paulus Hector Mair's 16th century compendia.
