If someone ever gets the time, it would be good to go through all of the German, Italian, and English manuals in the Wiktenauer and sort them into the following categories: German Manuals, Italian Manuals, English Manuals.

If no one gets around to this by this time next year (when I will no longer be a busy grad student), poke me and I'll do it. Michael-Forest (d'viser) 22:28, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

We abandoned that scheme a while ago. We currently sort that with semantic markup rather than categories. Michael Chidester 17:34, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
So, if I'm looking for texts in a particular tradition, how do I find them? Michael-Forest (d'viser) 22:20, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
Well, you can navigate using the tradition navboxes found at the foot of master pages, such as this one:

Additionally, one of the projects I've assigned to Ben (which he may or may not be working on) is to create a front-end for the semantic mediawiki that allows complex searches in a manner similar to this site: http://www.middleages.hu/english/martialarts/treatise_database.php. He assures me that it will be fairly simple to implement now that all of the markup is done.

And finally, there's a way to enter a simple semantic search to find, for example, all articles whose value for the property "nationality" is "German". But I forget exactly how that works. It's in the documentation somewhere. Michael Chidester 02:53, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
